If you are a confident moderate water sea kayaker and would like to head out to view the beautiful coastline of Anglesey, our Guided Sea Kayaking Anglesey Classics course is something you will enjoy.
Our Guided Sea Kayaking Anglesey Classics course is designed to introduce you to some of the best sea kayaking journeys that Anglesey and the UK have to offer. Each day will start over a coffee while we plan the day ahead, thus boosting your knowledge of the decision making processes for a safe day on the water, improving your knowledge of practical and theoretical navigation and seamanship.
Holy Island, with its spectacular headlands, the famous Penryn Mawr, South Stack and North Stack make for some of the best sea kayaking the UK has to offer, it's easy to see why this area is a 'Mecca' for sea kayakers!
Rhoscolyn, with its friendly tide races and fantastic rock hopping is another classic area for sea kayaking.
Anglesey has some super adventurous venues for sea kayaking, the Skerries and its abundance of wildlife, the North Coast with its industrial heritage and resident porpoise and not forgetting the Menai Straits, separating Anglesey from the mainland of North Wales. The Menai Straits is renowned for its fast flowing tidal rapids, making it a fantastic venue for sea kayaking in all weathers.
For this Guided Sea Kayaking Course, Steve Miles Sea Kayaking will endeavour (weather permitting), to visit a different location and participate on a different kind of sea kayaking journey each day. With easy access to the very best sea kayaking trips in the United Kingdom that covers the spectacular coastline of Anglesey, with its towering sea cliffs, hidden coves and stunning beaches, Steve's Guided Sea Kayaking Anglesey Classics course will deliver a wonderful adventure and help broaden your knowledge of the marine environment in Anglesey.
The five days spent on this Guided Sea Kayaking course will enrich your experience of sea kayaking whilst learning how to organise and plan your route so you can paddle coastal waters with confidence when you leave.
